Distance  Learning

Care during the School Year

During the pandemic, Oak Tree will provide much needed services for families who may be working in home or remotely.  We understand that juggling work and school may present challenges.

To help, we will:

Provide care and Distance Learning Support from 6:30 AM to 6 PM for Elementary school children up to age 12

Provide care and Distance Learning Support from 6:30 AM to 11:30 AM for Middle School children up to age 14

Ensure the children will have the opportunity to log on for teacher meetings and Distance Learning

Offer meals in the cost of care including breakfast, morning snack for morning students and breakfast, morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack for all day students.

Check in with parents when children are off track with work during school hours so that parents are able to support children in completing work.

Kindergarten

 Kindergarten Program

We are excited to share details about our full-day private school for Kindergartners!  Like Oak Tree's programs for preschool and school age children, the kindergarten uses experience-based, hands-on learning to grow academic, social and emotional skills.  Our Kindergarten's small ratio lends itself to teaching that responds specifically to the needs of children in a safe socially distanced setting.  Our Common Core informed curriculum uses research based strategies that engage children and pique curiosity, inquiry and self-motivation for learning.

The program has parents in mind, too.  Our homework assignments are meant for kindergartners.  We guarantee full day care during Spring Break, Winter Break and Thanksgiving and offer before school supervision as early as 6:30 AM and after school supervision as late as 6 PM for no additional cost.

Oak Tree Private Kinder enrolls children who will be 4 years and 9 months old NO later than August 10th.  Children who miss the deadlines are encouraged to apply for our Transitional Kindergarten for children turning 5 after November.
